The US-China Chess Match Continues

As we look forward to the upcoming meeting between the Chinese and American heads-of-state at the end of this week, many prognosticators see widespread collateral damage throughout the EU and other territories if a deal isn’t reached soon. Europe’s answer to “America First” is “Europe United”, but it remains to be seen if individual countries will put aside their differences and present a united front.

Meanwhile, GM just announced plans to lay off 14,000 workers in the US and Canada in a move tied to tariffs. Is that how you make America great again? Autoworkers in Ohio must be wondering…
