What to Watch for at the G20 Summit

Watchdogs on the Web aren't holding out for an official statement on trade protectionism from Trump or Xi Jinping, and their meeting most likely won't result in any reduction of U.S tariffs. Reduced Chinese import tariffs are a possibility. Trump will also meet with Angela Merkel and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, and those meetings will likely focus on America's $200 billion plus trade deficit in the automotive sector. Sanctions will be a topic broadly addressed. Narendra Modi will also meet with China's president, hoping to reboot RCEP discussions.
